Wraith, here is the post I told you about, where Slipshod took the time to compare stats between T2 sets from live to test. Looking at the STRAIGHT T2 sets the only stat that was dropped was power on two of the four sets. Everything else sat still or got buffed. Mind you, this is just Tier gear and precision gear in this post. I am sure some other t1.5 gear got nerfed. forums.station.sony.com/dcuopc/posts/list.m?topic_id=32197

This is good info. Thanks for posting Soar So if my understanding of power is correct, your stat in power is the amount of points in the "blue bar" you have, is that right? If that's the case it just means I need to FEED MORE POWER

Ok, I see my mistake now, I was extrapolating from an incomplete data set. I really should know better but my hope got in the way. I imagine some individual T2 items were decreased but those points were redistributed to the other pieces to compensate resulting in a net gain of 0. Since I only saw the individual I didnt get a chance to confirm the set.
Thanks for the clarification, though I admit it makes me a sad panda.

Maybe I'm an asshole but it's better to be sad for real reasons than happy for fake ones.

Do I understand it correctly that the numbers were shifted on certain pieces so that T2 is the best of any piece available or was that incorrect? For example, the 122 might chest from Oolong?

My understanding is that the numbers are being what I call "smoothed" (ie. shifted around). The dev post I read said that each pc of loot had a point allocation when created and that how it was distributed was left to the specific dev that was put in charge of that pc. The problem came in when that dev would spend an inordinate amount of the stat allocation in one area, thereby weakening the armor pc in others, such as health and defense. They said that they aren't going to nerf the stat point allocation of most pcs, just reallocate them to make them more balanced. That stance may change but that's the last official word that I read, unless someone has seen something more up to date from the devs. Of course, the speculation from the player base is running wild. Edit: I found the post this information came from, it's from the 12th which by forum standards is old but I haven't seen anything later than this from an official source. forums.station.sony.com/dcuopc/posts/list.m?topic_id=32083
